this indie rock synth-sounding alternative soundtrack is breath of fresh air for me. the distorted and noisy album cover seems to directly reflect the sounds used. the lead guitar and synths are heavily distorted and bass heavy while the drums and backing guitars are actually pretty normal sounding. this seems to further highlight the distorted leading instruments.
i revisited the really old album. the last time i thoroughly listened to it was probably... in 2014. it was a year when youtube pop cover artists were rapidly gaining popularity.
first of all, the lyrics are in french. this alone usually ties the knot in terms of adding a song to my playlist. i can't seem to find much information on RIVAGE.
